Based on the time-tested Analytics Edge connector technology, the Exporter MCP for GA server is a desktop application that communicates with your AI desktop client. It shows you what’s happening behind the scenes – what data the AI actually asked for based on your prompts, and every interaction with the server.
It dramatically reduces the context size and tokens required by buffering the AI from the technical API work, leaving the AI with a lot less to do so it can focus on your request. Any error is fed back to the AI with corrective guidance using understandable terminology reducing the token demand further.
Simple Installation and Logins
Installation is easy – just run the installer. Login to your account to activate and go. There are no third-party packages to install, no Google Cloud project to create, no service accounts needed. It is just a simple desktop application.
No API Terminology
The Analytics Edge MCP Server assumes the AI knows anything about the APIs, so property names and field names are what the user would see in the Google Analytics web interface. The Analytics Edge server does the translation for the API, dramatically reducing the effort (tokens) required to construct a query.
Minimizes AI Effort
The MCP Server does as much of the work as possible, minimizing the context demand required and dramatically reducing the tokens required. Optimizations like delivering results in tab-separated format reduce the tokens required to process typical JSON output. This lets your AI focus more on your query and less on the mechanics of getting data to anayze.
