This product is a Model-Context-Protocol (MCP) server that uses Analytics Edge connector technology to connect to Google Analytics. It addresses many of the problems voiced about existing MCP servers with a simple installation, easy account management, built-in debugging information, and an AI-friendly toolset that does not require knowledge of the GA APIs. Objectives of the product:
- simple, self-contained installation that does not require technical knowledge or Python installation
- simple account management that does not require service accounts or JSON files
- simplifying the toolset so the AI doesn’t have to translate into raw Google Analytics API parameters to reduce token usage
- improved debugging information so if/when things don’t work, you can figure out why
- see what people want/expect from this type of solution
